What are the major reason behind it?

1. Unhealthy food for your body:

The Packaged snacks, sugary drinks, and fast food have quietly become a daily habit for many young people in Indian cities. The rise in has become common among urban Indian youth, and these factors can significantly increase cancer risk.

2. Smoking and Alcohol Usage:

Many young Indians start smoking and start drinking in college or in their first jobs, often due to stress or social pressure. Even though awareness about the dangers is increasing, many young Indians continue to use tobacco and alcohol, both of which are well known causes of cancer.

3. Rising Obesity:

Weight gain in today’s time has become one of the common things among India’s youth due to poor dietary habits and a lack of physical activity. Today’s youth likes to eat food from outside like Chips and Momo that contains palm oil.

4. Irregular Sleep:

Late nights, shift work and constant use of phones have disturbed the normal sleep patterns of many young people. Poor sleep affects the body’s hormones and immune system, both of which play an important role in how the body fights off abnormal cell growth. It is because of smart phones and online games as the kids are very addicted to these types of games and also it happens when they avoid outdoor sports.

5. Ignoring Early Signs:

Young adults and sometimes even doctors does not overlook early symptoms because cancer is often assumed to be a disease that is only caused to the older people, which leads to delays in diagnosis. Because of this assumption, many young patients are diagnosed at a later, more serious stage compared to older patients who are screened more regularly.

6. Family History and Genetics:

A family history of cancer can increase a person’s risk, and hereditary cancers are not uncommon among young individuals. While genetics cannot be changed, doctors say that people with a family history should be more alert and get checked earlier than others.

Doctors around the world, including in India, are reporting more cancer diagnoses in people under 50, and while better detection methods play some role, researchers believe lifestyle changes are a major factor behind this rise. The good news is that many of these risk factors, unlike genetics, can actually be changed.
